Same as another smart handphone, Blackberry have many code that used for reset, restart blackberry without release battery, format memory blackberry, multitasking, etc.

Many codes are :

• Left SHIFT + Right ALT + DEL : master reset Blackberry, Press & Hold them until LCD swithed off and red blinking LED. Remember, all your data in the phone will be lost..
• ALT + Right SHIFT + DEL : Restart blackberry without release the battery, that functioned t refresh memory or to configure after installing an application.
• On home screen, press ALT and follow ‘LGLG‘, event log displayed. After that step you can press HOME and choose CLEAR LOG. This code fonctioned to clear Log.
• Same as your PC, you can jump to the other application. ALT + TAB n your PC, on Blackberry press ALT + ESC.

Berikut tips-tipsnya :

• Mematikan cahaya layar : Tekan tombol POWER.
• Beralih ke program lain: Tahan tombol ALT dan tekan tombol ESCAPE. Lanjutkan untuk menahan tombol ALT dan pilih program. Lepaskan tombol ALT untuk beralih ke program tersebut.
• Keluar dari sebuah tampilan atau kotak dialog: Tekan tombol ESCAPE.
• Membuat tanda (@) saat menulis alamat Email: Tekan tombol SPACE.
• Membuat atau menulis suatu karakter khusus: tekan dan tahan LETTER Key dan scroll dgn trackball / trackwheel.
• Membbuat huruf kapital : Tekan dan tahan tombol LETTER KEY sampai huruf kapital muncul.
• Pindahkan kursor ke arah yang berbeda: The ALT key and scroll dengan trackball / trackwheel.
• Ubah bidang pilihan (options field) : Tahan tombol ALT. Klik nilai yg dipilih.
• Pindah ke salah satu item dalam daftar atau menu: Tekan huruf pertama dari item tersebut.
• Memberi tanda check di kotak check : Tekan tombol the SPACE. Untuk menghapus kotak centang, tekan kembali tombol SPACE.
• Pilih suatu baris teks : Tekan tombol SHIFT dan scroll dgn trackball / trackwheel.
• Pindahkan ke bawah layar : Tekan tombol SPACE.
• Pindah ke atas layar : Tekan tombol SHIFT + tombol yang SPACE.

3. Hapus File vendor.xml yang ada di folder c:\program files\common files\reaserch in motion\apploader
4. Connect Blackberry ke computer dengan cable USB dalam paket pembelian. Jika tersambung akan muncul pesan “connected“
5. Buka Blackberry Desktop Manager, lalu pilih Application Loader
6. Pilih file flash atau firmware yg akan d-iinstall, and then click Update Now
7. Kemudian pilih NEXT, lalu pilih Yes untuk menyimpan data dan Not this time untuk melewatinya.
8. Tunggun sampai selesai & kemudian cabut kabel kembali, Good Luck & Wassalam.

Tips Blackberry : Agar Battery Awet & Tahan Lama

There are many tips to make your Blackberry battery long Power ON and long live battery. Ada beberapa tips agar battery Blackberry Kuat dan tahan lama. Baik daya tahan hidup battery maupun keawetan battery itu sendiri.

Charging

• Charge BlackBerry as much as possible. Charge sampai penuh. Setelah penuh segera cabut charger. Jgn biarkan mengecharge HP semalaman. Don’t charge your Blackberry along the night.
• Use wall chargers as the preferred charging method. Gunakan charger original atau spesifikasi yang tepat.

Media

• Reduce volume. Kurangi volume dering
• Use headphones. Gunakan headset
  
• Turn off equalizer settings (Media – Options). Matikan equalizer
  

Browsing

• Turn Repeat Animations to a lower setting (Browser – Options – General Properties). Pilih Pengulangan animasi pada setting rendah.
• Close browser when finished using (close with ESC key, not red End key). Matikan browser internet bila tak terpakai.

Screen/Keyboard

• Reduce Backlight Timeout (Options – Screen/Keyboard). Pendekkan waktu lampu layar hidup.
• Reduce Backlight Brightness (Options – Screen/Keyboard). Rendahkan brightness layar.
• Holster smartphone (turns off LCD automatically). Set Auto Off LCD
• Set Audible Roll to mute (Options – Screen/Keyboard). Posisikan Audible pada Mute.
• Key Tone Off (Options – Screen/Keyboard). Matikan Suara tombol

Network Connections

• Turn off unused connections when not in use, i.e. GPS, Wi-Fi®, Bluetooth®. Matikan GPS, WIFI dan Bletooth bila tak terpakai.
• Use Auto On/Off. Aktifkan auto ON/OFF.
• Use single mode only (1XEV, 2G only, 3G only). Pilih mode single jaringan.

Camera

• Turn off flash (Camera – Options). Matikan lampu Flash Camera
• Set picture size to Small (Camera – Options). Kecilkan ukuran gambar.
• Set Color Effect to Normal (Camera – Options). Pilih effect kamera pada Normal
• Set Picture Quality to Normal (Camera – Options). Pilih kualitas kamera pada Normal

Applications

• When exiting, be sure to close the app, not leave it running in the background (close with ESC key, not red End key). Tutup aplikasi yg sudah tak terpakai. Jgn di minimize.

Indicators

• Set Audible notification to Off (Profiles). Set nada peringatan pada posisi Off.
